Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering professional nursing care to patients in their homes. This includes assessing patient health needs, developing care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, medication, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with infection control practices and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing (BSN or ADN) from an accredited program.
- Minimum of one year experience in home healthcare or related field preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
